Southern Circuit Itinerary

6DAYS  MIKUMI AND RUAHA NATIONAL PARKS.

Day 1:Arrival at Dar es  Salaam international airport  where you will be meet with our staff and transfer to the hotel for Dnner and overnight.

Day 2: After breakfast Transfer to Iringa  town. Lunch at Kitonga Inn Lodge then proceed to Iringa Hotel for dinner and overnight. 
 

Day 3 After breakfast drive  to Ruaha National Park. Lunch at Ruaha River Lodge. Evening Game drive in Ruaha Park. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge. 
 

Day 4:In the morning game viewing  with packed lunch boxes for a full day tour. Return to Ruaha River Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5:After breakfast game e-route to Kitonga Inn for lunch.then drive to Vuma Hill Camp for dinner and overnight. 
Day 6: In the morning game drive in Mikumi Park. Lunch at the camp. Afternoon drive back to Dar es Salaam then to  the aiport for your flight back home.

4DAYS   SELOUS NATIONAL GAME RESERVE

Day 1: Day 1:Arrival at Dar es  Salaam international airport  where you will be meet with our staff and transfer to the hotel for Dinner and overnight.

 Day 2:After breakfast drive to Selous  with packed lunch . Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp.
 

Day 3:After early morning breakfast walking safari returning to camp for Lunch. After lunch Afternoon boat safari on the   Rufiji River then back to the camp overnight at the camp. 
 

Day 4: Early morning game viewing at the reserve, departing after an early lunch to drive back to Dar es Salaam then to the aiport for your flight back home.

8 DAYS  SELOUS  NATIONAL GAME RESERVE &  BEACH  HOLIDAYS

 Day 1 Day: Arrival at Dar es Salaam international airport where you will be meet with our staff and transfer to the hotel for Dinner and overnight.

 Day 2. After breakfast, you will leave for morning game drive or boat trip, unless you have opted for an early-morning escorted walk. You will return back in time for lunch, after which you will have time to relax, then diner and overnight.

Day 3 and 4. Today you have the option of choosing from the multitude of activities to do at The Selous Safari Camp or take part in an experience of a lifetime two nights walking safari with nights spent in our purpose made “fly” tents. Walks are conducted in the coolest part of the day in some of the best African big game walking terrain to be found. The nights are spent with your guide who hosts the entire safari around the camp fire under the canopy of millions of stars listening to the sounds of unspoilt Africa dinner & overnight.

Day 5. Breakfast, game  en-route  on your way to the airstrip for your flight to Dar es Salaam, where you will arrive early afternoon. We then take you on a short flight to Ras Kutani in time to enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the beach for dinner & Overnight.

Day 6 and 7.On this day you will relax at the beach. You can walk for miles on unspoilt shorelines, swim, snorkel, kayak, boogie board or just rest under the purpose-made shades on the beach.  Back in time for lunch, then Dinner & Overnight.

 Day 8. Depending on the departure time of your flight back home, you may have time for an early morning Horse ride, followed by a walk through the unique tropical forest that borders the Lodge. Thereafter transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight .

7 DAYS  SELOUS, MIKUMI AND  RUAHA.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam  to Selous Game Reserve
After your break fast Leaving Dar es Salaam for Selous Game Reserve by first class TAZARA Express, lunch en route. Met by driver at Kisaki Train Station and transferred to the hotel. After unpacking proceeds with the Game Drive along Rufiji River for few hours before sunset. Dinner and overnight Sable Mountain Lodge

Day 2 Rufiji River Boat Excursion
Half-day boat excursion on the Rufiji River with picnic lunch
Late afternoon game viewing, Dinner and overnight Sable Mountain Lodge or  similar

Day 3 Foot-walking Excursion and Game Drive
Half day foot walking Excursion to the wilderness of Selous
Starts early in the morning with the guidance of an armed ranger, takes several hours before you break for lunch in the bush. Proceed with game drive, after the foot-walking safari, until sunset. Dinner and overnight Sable Mountain Lodge or Similar.

Day 4 Transferred to Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, drive to Mikumi (Picnic lunch on the way).
Afternoon Game drive at Mikumi, Dinner and overnight at Kikoboga Camp or Similar 

Day 5 Ruaha National Park
Breakfast Transferred to Ruaha National Park, Half a day game drive
Dinner and overnight at Jongomeru Camp or Similar.

Day 6 Full day Game Viewing in Ruaha National Park

Full day safari tour at Ruaha National Park, starting early in the morning (0630am) with sunrise game drive, till breakfast time, concentrating along the Ruaha River banks and water holes. You’ll be able to see herds of elephants, giraffes, prides of lions and Great Kudus. Back to the lodge for lunch, and then proceed for sunset wilderness game drive. Dinner and overnight at Jongomeru Camp or similar. 

Day 7 Shuttle Services to Dar es Salaam
After sunrise early game drive and breakfast depart for Dar es Salaam (8 hours drive). Lunch along the way (Iringa or late afternoon lunch at Morogoro Town). Arrive in Dar es Salaam late afternoon  at evening drive to the airport for your flight back home. 

4 days 3nights Chimpanzees trekking safaris in Tanzania

DAY 1:Depart to Kigoma from Arusha  by flight Arrive in Kigoma
