3DAYS MAASAI MARA

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara.
0800 hrs- Drive to via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch. Along the way we will have a distant view of Mt. Longonot, Mt. Margaret and the pyrethrum plantations. 1530 hrs- go for an afternoon game drive till dusk.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 2: Maasai Mara
0630 hrs - early morning game drive in the Mara. Return to the lodge for breakfast. You spend the rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch at the lodge you proceed at 1500 hrs for an afternoon game drive till dusk.

Day 3: Maasai Mara- Nairobi.
0630 hrs- Take the opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot air Balloon provided at extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience.

After breakfast return to Nairobi arriving around 1300 hrs oevrnight at the hotel. 

5DAYS MAASAI MARA & LAKE NAKURU

Day 1: Nairobi - L. Nakuru
Met at JKIA Airport (morning flight) by our representative and commence your safari by road to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is situated 160kms from Nairobi and known as ornithological paradise by birdwatchers because of its millions of lesser and greater flamingoes. It has also been established as rhino sanctuary and not mention a home to leopard, giraffe, colombus monkeys and other variety of plain antelope.
Lunch to be served at your HOTEL GENEVEIVE HOTEL situated Nakuru Town. The hotel has good facilities such as dinning hall, superb rooms, hot shower and good service.
Later in the afternoon you depart the hotel for you afternoon game drive around the lake shore which will be the feature for the afternoon and later return to hotelL for dinner & overnight  

7DAYS SAMBURU,ABERDARE,NAKURU & MAASAI MARA

Day 1: Nairobi  - Samburu
0800 hrs – depart Nairobi and drive north to Samburu National Reserve. You enjoy a game drive en-route to Samburu Serena Lodge, where you arrive at around 1400 hours in time for lunch. After lunch at the lodge, you have the early afternoon free, before going for an afternoon game drive, from 1530 hrs till dusk.

Samburu National Reserve is a wildlife haven. Here you will spot Africa’s big cats - lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Some animals are unique to this northern Kenya park: Gravy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, kudu and gerenuk. The The Ewaso Nyiro River, the boundary with the neighboring Buffalo Springs National Reserve, is where the elephants, buffalo and other animal species gather for a drink. You will find the scenic semiarid landscape quite dramatic. The reserve is located within the lands of the colourful semi-nomadic Samburu tribesmen.

Day 2: Smburu

Start your day with an early morning game drive starting at 0600 hrs. Return to the lodge for breakfast at 0800 hrs. You spend the period before and after lunch at leisure at the lodge. At 1530 hrs you go for your afternoon game-drive till dusk.

Day 3: Samburu – Aberdare
After breakfast checkout and head to the Aberdares Country Club where you will have lunch at 1200 hrs. At 1400 hrs, take the short transfer to the Aberdares National Park for an evening of game viewing from the unique tree hotel, The Ark.

Aberdares National Park has a diverse topography that includes icy rivers, spectacular waterfalls and rain forests. The flora and fauna is quite unique and is not found elsewhere in the country, expect on Mount Kenya. Leopard, elephant, serval, waterbuck, reedbuck, dikdik, rhino and the rare bongo can all be found here. You are sure to see elephants, buffalos and some other animals at the floodlit waterholes of The Ark.

Day 4: Aberdare – Nakuru

After breakfast at the Ark, transfer back to the Aberdare Country Club. Then drive to Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. At 1530 hrs proceed for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.

Day 5: Nakuru –Maasai Mara

16 DAYS COMBINED TANZANIA  AND KENYA  SAFARI 

Day 1. Nairobi/Samburu
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through central Kenya and north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2. Samburu
Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a local Samburu village. All meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.


Day 3. Mountain Lodge
Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya arriving Serena Mountain Lodge (tree hotel) in time for lunch. Relax the afternoon away as you watch game from the balcony with an optional guided nature walk. Overnight floodlit game viewing. Dinner and overnight at the tree hotel.

Day 4. Lake Nakuru

Depart after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls and arriving Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park.
Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild\'s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5. Maasai Mara
Depart Lake Nakuru in the morning and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6 & 7. Maasai Mara
Two full days in Maasai Mara, Kenya\'s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.


Day 8. Nairobi
Depart Maasai Mara in the morning and drive back to Nairobi arriving approx 1300hrs. Lunch on own/afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Nairobi Safari Club.BB

Day 9. Amboseli
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Amboseli National Park arriving Amboseli Serena Lodge in time for lunch. The park is famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mt Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Approx transit time: 4 hrs


Day 10. Amboseli
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive at 6.30am, when you have the best chance to see Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for late breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure. Afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.


Day 11. Lake Manyara
Depart Amboseli after breakfast and drive to Namanga (Kenya/Tanzania border) where you you change driver/guide and vehicle then proceed to Arusha for lunch at Impala Hotel. Proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.
Approx transit time: 6 hrs


Day 12. Serengeti
Morning game drive in Manyara Park, a park dotted with exotic trees such as the giant fig, baobab and mahogany and famous for lions that sprawl on trees. Depart after lunch for Serengeti Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 13. Serengeti
Full day in Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives in the rolling grasslands studded with wildlife for as far as the eye can see National Park. All meals and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.


Day 14. Ngorongoro
Another morning game drive in Serengeti, departing after lunch for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge for a brief visit of the museum. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Approx transit time: 3 hrs


Day 15. Ngorongoro
After breakfast, descend into the crater floor with picnic lunch boxes for a full day crater tour. Return to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 16. Nairobi/Out

Depart after breakfast and drive to Arusha for lunch at Impala Hotel, then board afternoon shuttle bus back to Nairobi arriving approx 1830hrs (a flying option is available). Drop at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward flight.
